The Peachtree Dovetail Jig System takes a simple approach to making beautiful through dovetails, a hallmark of fine craftsmanship. The hardest part about cutting dovetails is marking and cutting the matching angles to one another. We have done the math for you and milled the exact cuts that need to be made in this heavy duty, easy to use jig. This dovetail system works with precision bearing guides on the shank of the router instead of using those hard to center brass bushing guides. Since the bearing is already centered on the bit, it makes setting up to cut the joint fast and easy. We have milled the template to match the bearing size so that the bit is perfectly centered and there is no slop, no wear and no waste. Unlike other templates you have seen, our jig will work with two different thicknesses of stock. It also does not limit your stock width, it's as simple as making your first cut, then slide the jig down, realign and make your second cut. You can also skip a space on the jig to create unique joints (shown above). This means the types of projects you can do with this jig are virtually endless! Available in two different template lengths. Each system comes with 1 machined precision aluminum dovetail template, 1 seven degree dovetail bit and 1 flush trim bit.
