The hardest part about cutting dovetails is marking and cutting the matching angles to one another. Fortunately, we have done the math for you and milled the exact cuts that need to be made in this aluminum, heavy duty, easy to use dovetail jig. This dovetail system works with precision bearing guides on the shank of the router bit instead of using those hard to center brass bushing guides. Since the bearing is already centered on the bit, it makes setting up to cut the joint fast and easy. We have milled the aluminum template to match the bearing size so that the bit is perfectly centered and there is no slop, no wear and no waste. Unlike other templates you have seen, our jig will work with two different thicknesses of stock. It also does not limit your stock width, it's as simple as making your first cut, then slide the jig down, realign and make your second cut, or you can attach a second Peachtree Dovetail Jig with tabs (sold separately) and make the longer width cuts all at once without moving the jig. You can also skip a space on the jig to create unique joints. This means the types of projects you can do with this jig are virtually endless! The jig is available in 15” lengths. The Kit includes: 1 ea. 15” Aluminum Dovetail Jig, 1ea. ¼” shank - 7 degree dovetail bit with bearing, 1 ea. ¼” shank - 5/8” straight bit with bearing, and full color instructions. The bits that come with the Peachtree Dovetail Jig will cut dovetails in stock from 1/2" to 3/4" thick. Optional router bit sets are available for thinner stock or box joints. Use with 1½hp hand held router or on the top of a router table.

 An add on kit can be purchased separately to increase the length of your jig. The Add on Kit includes the 15” jig only, no accessories or router bits are included.
