7mm Pen Mandrels

Able to hold two barrels at a time, this Pen Mandrel is an affordable pen mandrel that’s precision machined for accuracy and will run true. The compression fitting acts as an adjustable “stop” adding versatility by allowing you to mount single or odd size barrels. This mandrel is not guaranteed to accept bushings from other brands of pen mandrels. Includes compression fitting, brass tightening nut. Bushings not included.

Pro Pen MT2 Mandrel Set

Gone are the days of off-centered turnings and the need for spacers for those shorter projects. The Whiteside Pro Pen Mandrel system incorporates similar technology used on today’s most modern CNC machines. This technology allows for a superior hold on the mandrel, while providing quick, easy adjustments for the varying lengths of different kits.

Simply loosen the collet nut, slide the mandrel to the desired length and retighten; it’s that simple! The Whiteside Pro Pen Mandrel also features a true fitting #2 Morse Taper, which promotes a better fit to the taper on the headstock of the lathe. Chuck incorporates a #2 MT and is 5-5/16" long. Mandrel is .246" in diameter and 7-1/2" long.

Precision Mandrel Center

Having issues with the bending or bowing of your mandrel and messing up the point on your live center? Than the Pen Mandrel Saver is perfect for you! Mandrels tend to bow or bend when the tailstock center is tightened into your mandrel. This Live Tail Stock Center rids you of this, since your mandrel will now go through the hollow live center. The bushings press against the center with virtually no pressure against the mandrel shaft. The tube and bushing assembly tightens up by turning your tailstock quill adjustment wheel.
