Whether its on a circle or a square, typically we would measure the longest distance and divide that in half and hope we are correct and accurate. The clear round design of the center finder/compass allows you to see exactly what you are doing and assists you with quick, easy placement. Once you locate the spot that you want to center your circle from, use a push pin or brad nail in the center hole of the center finder/compass to hold it in place. Choose the diameter circle you would like to mark, then using a fine pointed pencil or scoring tool to mark your circle.

White and Black Printed Index Markings

The white printed index markings appear clearly on darker colored surfaces while the black printed index marks appear clearly on lighter colored surfaces. The markings line up with a different size diameter hole in 1/8” increments.
