Olson has been a leading manufacturer of scroll saw blades for more than 80 years, offering a full line of superior quality blades to satisfy almost every scrolling application. Olson blades are for use with scroll/jig saw machines sold by Delta, DeWalt, Dremel, Skil, Rockwell, Pro-Tech, Powermatic,RB Industries, Hegner, Sakura, Shopsmith, Excalibur, Rexon, Ryobi, Sears Craftsman, and Makita. (virtually all domestic and imported scroll saws). They can also be used in hand held fret and jewelers saw frames.

These blades saw in all directions and have 360º cutting capability. Excellent for 0º radius scroll/fret work - you never have to turn the workpiece. Use for cutting all types of materials including wood, plastic, wax, non-ferrous metals, plaster, bone, horn, etc. For use in power scroll saws and hand-held fret and jewelers saw frames. Cutting speed and finish depend on material thickness and number of teeth per inch. These premium blades are made of high carbon steel, hardened and tempered to stay sharp longer. Good for bevel cutting letters in names. Increase throat capacity and cut longer pieces without turning!

These blades have the same performance characteristics as our skip tooth fret saw blades with the added benefit of reverse teeth for a smooth, splinter free finish on top and bottom surfaces. Excellent blade for eliminating tear-out on birch and maple plywood.

Unique tooth design allows the blade to cut on both the up and downstroke. Cuts a little slower for more control, which is especially useful in delicate fretwork. Finish is smooth with clean, sharp, splinter-free edges in hard/soft wood, plywood, plastic and Corian®. 2-way cutting action prevents melting behind the cut in most plastic including acrylic, lexan (polycarbonate), fiberglass, and plexiglas. Has no top or bottom for easy blade installation. Blade can be turned over for a fresh new set of teeth.

These blades are preferred by many scroll saw users. They are easy to distinguish from our regular skip tooth fret saw blades as having two teeth together followed by a flat space for efficient chip removal. Double tooth blades cut fast, leaving clean edges in wood and plastic. The New DT432 is considered the best blade for cutting wood veneer!

These are the only metal cutting blades made specifically for power scroll saws. Jewelers or metal piercing blades are for use in hand held frames due to inherent brittleness. These premium blades are made of hardened and tempered steel and have more teeth per inch required for cutting thin metal and other hard materials. Blades have regular style teeth.

Skip tooth blades are available in more sizes than any other type Olson scroll saw blade. There is a complete range available from the New FR400 (#3/0) size for the finest of cutting to the FR410 for coarser sawing of thicker materials. For hand or machine sawing of wood, plastic and fibrous materials. Skip tooth blades cut fast, provide good chip clearance and smooth finishes.

Scroll Saw Sanders

These unique scroll sanders eliminate time consuming hand sanding of edges on all scroll saw projects. Now you can sand narrow internal cuts, remove bumps, gouges, burn marks, or correct wanderings from the cut line in seconds. Designed for pin-end or pin less scroll saws, each sander consists of an abrasive strip which is mounted like a scroll saw blade. Thats right, mounting scroll sanders is as quick and easy as changing your scroll saw blades. 1/4" or 1/2" wide strips, each package contain 4 sanders, assortment packages contain 1 each of 120, 180, 220 and 320 grit sanders. Fits most 5" scroll saws (Delta, Craftsman, Ryobi, Excalibur, DeWalt), but minor modifications may be required to throat insert or table opening depending upon size of sander used. Please check your table/throat plate opening before ordering. Does not fit RBI, Reliant, or Moto-Shop.
