At one time the spiralling was a technique only practiced by advanced turners. Now turners of nearly any skill level can create spirals to their hearts content using the Sorby 320 Spiralling Tool. A further development of Sorby's texturing tool, the spiraling tool can be used to create both left and right handed spirals, barley twists, rope effects, flutes, and even checkered patterns with ease.
